FFA Successfully Organizes the Semifinal Round of the “Finance and Accounting Arena 2025” Competition

On the afternoon of November 17, 2025, at Room B203 – Campus 1, the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, Lac Hong University, successfully organized the Semifinal Round of the “Finance and Accounting Arena 2025” competition, featuring the 24 most outstanding contestants selected from more than 200 participants in the Qualifying and Breakthrough Rounds.

The Semifinal Round marked a significant milestone in the competition’s journey to identify the most competent teams advancing to the Grand Finale. In this round, the 24 contestants were divided into eight teams of three members each and tasked with solving practical case studies in the fields of Finance, Accounting, Banking, and Logistics. The examination format emphasized real-world application, requiring contestants to demonstrate data analysis skills, logical reasoning, teamwork capability, and the ability to respond effectively under time constraints.

The competition atmosphere was dynamic yet highly demanding, as each team was required to complete their assigned tasks within a limited timeframe. All teams showcased confidence, creativity, and professionalism—reflecting the competencies developed through their academic training at the Faculty. Several teams impressed the judges with their scientific approach to problem-solving, coherent argumentation, and feasible recommendations tailored to realistic business contexts.

Following a rigorous and impartial evaluation process, the Judging Panel selected the four most outstanding teams to advance to the 2025 Grand Finale, including:

Team 1: Pham Nguyen Phuong Thao; Pham Thi Hien; Nguyen Hoang Trang Anh

Team 2: Huynh Kim Ngoc; Dao Duy Hoang; Le Tran Van Minh

Team 3: Le Thi Thu Hang; Do Ngoc Ha; Nguyen Vu Mong Hong

Team 4: Dinh Thi Anh Nguyet; Le Phan Ngoc Oanh; Pham Thi Mai Phuong

In addition, the Academic Council honored two contestants with the most outstanding individual performances in the Semifinal Round: Nguyen Vu Mong Hong and Pham Thi Mai Phuong. These students demonstrated exceptional analytical abilities, strong reasoning, and confident presentation skills before the judging committee.

The Semifinal Round of FA Arena 2025 not only provided students with an opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge to practical challenges but also helped them strengthen essential skills such as teamwork, time management, and strategic thinking—core competencies valuable for future professionals in the economic sector.

The competition now moves forward to the Grand Finale, which promises even more intense and intellectually stimulating performances from the top teams.
