On October 29, 2024, students from the Faculty of Finance and Accounting at Lac Hong University participated in a seminar organized by Arizona State University (ASU), centered around the theme “Science, Technology, Innovation, and Creativity” (STIC). This event is part of an ongoing collaboration between ASU and Lac Hong University, aimed at advancing STEM fields within Vietnamese higher education institutions and providing students with access to advanced knowledge and skills in the rapidly evolving technological landscape.
The STIC Seminar offered an in-depth view of innovation trends in science and technology, helping students better understand the opportunities and challenges within Industry 4.0. Additionally, a $12,500 grant fund was introduced to support potential projects, encouraging students to develop practical and creative ideas.
To foster learning and broaden students' knowledge, the Faculty of Finance and Accounting selected exemplary students to participate in the event. These students engaged in expert presentations from ASU, exchanged experiences, and learned valuable real-world insights. This was a precious opportunity for students to gain exposure to innovative ideas and essential skills for career planning.
Through the seminar, Faculty of Finance and Accounting students had the chance to connect with leading industry experts and explore cutting-edge technology. Students were encouraged to present their ideas and seek support from ASU’s funding program, inspiring them to develop valuable projects that can be applied in future professional and personal endeavors.
