On the morning of November 8, 2025, at Hall I209 – Campus 6, the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, Lac Hong University, held a formal gathering to celebrate International Accounting Day – an occasion that honors the contributions of the accounting profession to socio-economic development.

The event was attended by the Faculty leadership, lecturers, alumni, and a large number of Accounting students. Particularly, the program welcomed guest speaker Nguyen Trung Hoa, CPA – Lecturer at T.A.D Learning, who delivered a keynote presentation on “Career Orientation in Accounting in the Context of Digital Transformation and Global Integration.”

During the program, lecturers and students reviewed the historical development of the accounting profession, from the era of Luca Pacioli (1445–1517) – known as the “Father of modern accounting” – to current trends in digital accounting, including the application of ERP systems, AI, and Big Data in financial control and decision-making.

Guest speaker Nguyen Trung Hoa shared practical insights on professional skills, strategies for building competitive job applications, and pathways to obtaining international professional certifications (CPA, ACCA). The Q&A session allowed students to directly interact with the speaker and receive advice regarding career opportunities and workplace expectations.

The event served as a meaningful platform for connection among faculty members, lecturers, alumni, and students, fostering motivation and reinforcing students' confidence in pursuing their passion and enhancing professional competencies in the accounting field amid digital transformation.

The gathering concluded in a warm, engaging atmosphere, demonstrating the strong cohesion of the Accounting student community at Lac Hong University and reaffirming the Faculty’s commitment to practice-oriented, globally integrated training and professional capacity development.
