LHU hosts academic exchange featuring INTENSE full scholarships

On the morning of November 17, 2025, LHU proudly hosted the “Academic Exchange & INTENSE Full Scholarship Introduction” program at Auditorium A301, Campus 1, welcoming leaders and faculty from Minghsin University of Science and Technology (MUST) and  Taiwan Steel University of Science and Technology (TSUST). The event aimed to create greater opportunities for study, research, and international exchange for LHU students, particularly in the fields of Semiconductors, Finance, and STEM.

Representing LHU were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh – Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyen Quoc Huy – Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting; and M.A. Nguyen Thi Nhu Thuong – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies. From MUST, participants included Mr. Li Chih-Hung – Vice President; Ms. Li Meng-Han – Deputy Director, Office of International Affairs; Mr. Sheng Tien-Tzu – Assistant Professor, Department of Electronic Engineering; and Ms. Vu Ngoc Minh Thao – Project Director. TSUST was represented by Mr. Pan Chien-Liang – Head of International Affairs and Ms. Ha Hong-Tham – Project Director, along with LHU faculty and students.

During the program, representatives from both universities presented the INTENSE full scholarship, a special initiative for LHU students aspiring to study in Semiconductors, Finance, and STEM. The scholarship offers full tuition coverage, as well as opportunities for research and internships at high-tech companies in Taiwan, a leading country in the Asian semiconductor industry. This initiative provides LHU students access to an advanced educational environment and strengthens their professional competitiveness in a globally integrated context.

They also delivered in-depth presentations on the global development of the semiconductor industry, the demand for STEM talent in the high-tech era, the role of finance in the technology ecosystem, and new directions in engineering research and application. This valuable information helps LHU students broaden their perspectives, grasp career trends, and gain a clearer understanding of global workforce requirements.

The event reaffirmed the strong partnership between LHU and its Taiwanese partner universities, while highlighting the University's commitment to internationalizing education and enhancing student competitiveness. LHU will continue to expand international cooperation programs, increase scholarship and research opportunities, and support students in integrating and developing comprehensively in the global educational environment.
